Float The Highlands is a Onewheel event in the Scottish Highlands and is renowned for hosting one of the toughest downhill race courses ever attempted on a Onewheel. Drawing participants and enthusiasts from across the world, this event represents a unique and thrilling experience. To enhance their presence and create a lasting memory, Float The Highlands approached us with a request for merchandise designs, both for online sales and on-site availability during the event.

The Challenge:
Incorporating the rich culture and humor of the Scottish Highlands into merchandise designs presented a unique challenge. We needed to ensure that the humor was both universally understood by Onewheel enthusiasts from around the world and respectful of the local culture. To meet Float The Highlands’ requirements, we embarked on the creation of merchandise designs that would elevate the event’s image. We took a creative approach, incorporating popular UK brands and rebranding them with Onewheel sayings. Additionally, we designed a unique shirt featuring a Highland Cattle holding up a sign that humorously read “Yer Aff Yer Heid,” a Scottish phrase for “you are crazy” or “you are out of your mind.” These designs were not only visually appealing but also showcased the unique and exhilarating nature of the event, effectively capturing the spirit of Float The Highlands.
